LSPLUG LIFTING BOGIE ADAPTER

Over recent years, both sliding door and window systems have undergone a notable evolution in specification and ease of use. This evolution is focused primarily on meeting current demands for thermal and acoustic efficiency.

This implies profiles with wide thermal bridge breaks and glass of considerable thickness, causing a noticeable increase in weight of the sliding element, especially with large format leaves. As a result, the profiles used in this type of enclosure have to be sufficiently robust, and the use of elevating systems profiles in traditional sliding systems is common, especially when the window weights exceed specific levels.

STAC introduces its LSPLUG device which is novel in its use of bogies that incorporate the LS200 / LS400 lift & slide systems to suit traditional slide use. This system allows height adjustment and supports loads up to 400 kg per leaf.


The main characteristics are:

  • It is the ideal solution for adapting elevating systems in high load capacity sliding systems (2 bogies up to 400 kg / leaf).
  • Allows independent adjustment of ±3 mm in height with 5 mm key.

Above 200 kg, the glass support points must be taken into account.

CORROSION RESISTANCE


The zamak parts have been treated to ensure a corrosion resistance of more than 240 hours in saline mist chamber in compliance with UNE-EN 1670 obtaining a GRADE 4 rating that gives high corrosion resistance and usability in environments with severe weather conditions.
