Anti-false manoeuvre

Multipoint locks with anti-false manoeuvre system

Sliding or rolling aluminium windows are undergoing an evolution in performance and comfort. STAC’s R&D department is constantly developing accessory lines to meet current demands.

The multipoint AF lock incorporates an anti-false manoeuvring system which prevents movement of the handle when the window sash is open. The system only allows the hardware to be operated when the sash is fully closed.

If required by the user, the anti-false manoeuvre device can be blocked and used as a conventional 15 mm pin backset.

» Soft and cushioned closing of the sash

The active anti-false manoeuvre device allows the closing of the sliding window, ensuring a soft and cushioned closing of the sash and significantly reducing the possibility of damaging the closing points of the multipoint lock or breaking of the hooks or counter-closure points.

In addition, it has a plastic protector to prevent direct impact of the device against the frame, avoiding possible deformations.

» Adjustment for handles and intuitive pull handles

The AF Multipoint Lock has been specially developed for use with transmission handles with 7 mm spindle or with intuitive pull handles.

The device is adjustable by means of a grub screw, allowing it to be adjusted correctly where we want the handle or pull handle to act when closing the window sash.

» Adaptability to different profiles

The multipoint lock is valid for 15 mm pins and is available in lengths of 600, 1000 and 1600 mm to accommodate the various profiles of sliding windows.

» Secure solutions

All multipoint options have an anti-lift system that prevents the sash being removed when in the closed position.

» Corrosion resistance

The stainless steel strips have been treated to ensure a corrosion resistance in compliance with UNE-EN 1670 obtaining a grade 4 rating that gives high corrosion resistance and usability in environments with severe weather conditions.
