{"id":3939,"date":"2021-04-22T07:31:12","date_gmt":"2021-04-22T07:31:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.stac.es\/2021\/04\/clx-oscilo-160kg-ya-disponible\/"},"modified":"2025-01-16T09:48:53","modified_gmt":"2025-01-16T09:48:53","slug":"clx-tilt-turn-160kg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stac.es\/en\/news\/clx-tilt-turn-160kg\/","title":{"rendered":"CLX TILT-TURN 160KG, NOW AVAILABLE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">In the current fenestration world and following current architectonic tendencies, glazing area sizes are constantly increasing and frequently windows are reaching 120 kgs. in weight as well as seeing requests for configurations up to 150 kgs.<br><\/span><br><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">These configurations mainly due to three reasons:<br><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">The use of balcony windows in order to maximize natural light entry in order to take advantage of the maximum area between the ceiling and the floor.<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">The more and more frequent use of tempered security glazing and glass with high thermal characteristics that double the weight of standard glazing.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">The new and thicker profiles (70, 80, 100mm) with high thermal capacities that have been conceived for large loads and much greater glazing thicknesses.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Because of these reasons, STAC has decided to launch a new tilt-turn configuration that includes new hinges and friction stays that are especially designed for heavy loads, that are characterised by their strength, assembly and adjustments and therefore a hardware that conforms with current expectations.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"71\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stac.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/999.clxtiltturn160kg.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12030\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stac.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/999.clxtiltturn160kg.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.stac.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/999.clxtiltturn160kg-300x53.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"548\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stac.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/728.bisagra160kgconllaveallen2-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12037\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stac.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/728.bisagra160kgconllaveallen2-2.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.stac.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/728.bisagra160kgconllaveallen2-2-219x300.jpg 219w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>1- Robust<\/strong><\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"><strong><strong>Thought to be trust<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">One of the main design premises was to provide extra security systems for the hardware in order to keep working despite of poor installation conditions or other kind of failures.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">One of the most frequent types of mistake made during installation of classical tilt-turn hinges is the height adjustment and it is worse if the window is much heavier. This adjustment tends to be in the lower area of the sash and means the sash hinge blade has to be loosened so that the window can slide upwards with a degree of freedom.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">The fact that in order to loosen these screws with a load is a problem in itself due to many windows are physically limited to a 90\u00b0 opening or less (e.g. due to columns, walls etc.) and access to the screws is very complicated. Also a height adjustment has to be made, and for example in the case of a balcony or a Pladur type window, it is very complicated because the allen key does not fit in the lower part of the window. Finally, the screws that were loosened have to tightened again and not only was it difficult to loosen them but even worse to tighten them with all of the load on the sash.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Ultimately, the probability that something has been badly tightened or not at all is high. The solution is to eliminate the probability of error by eliminating the problem so that all the adjustments are accesible from the outside and can be applied directly.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"738\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stac.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/734.seccion-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12046\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stac.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/734.seccion-2.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.stac.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/734.seccion-2-163x300.jpg 163w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>2- 3D Adjustment<\/strong><\/span><\/strong> <\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"><strong><strong>The effectiveness of simplicity<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">As explained previously, with highly loaded windows it is essential that the adjustments are simple, effective and direct but above all that they are reliable.<br><\/span><br><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Therefore the same type of adjustment has been implemented in these hinges as the Anodic hinges and their effectiveness has been verified in numerous tests:<br><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Axis height adjustment (+2,5mm -0,5mm) with a 5 mm allen key.<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Lateral adjustment of \u00b11,3mm with a 2.50 mm allen key.<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">A tightening adjustment of +0,5mm using an eccentric bush.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"285\" height=\"663\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stac.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/744.bisagra160kgconllaveallen3-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12053\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stac.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/744.bisagra160kgconllaveallen3-1.jpg 285w, https:\/\/www.stac.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/744.bisagra160kgconllaveallen3-1-129x300.jpg 129w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 285px) 100vw, 285px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>3- Security<\/strong><\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"><strong>The most important in its rightful place<br><\/strong><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">One of the factors that has been centred on in its design ,was to look for an added security system that avoids unnecessary scares, taking in to consideration that 160 kgs. is a weight that should be treated with respect. Taking in to consideration that the materials have a limited resistance, the profiles available are diverse and each extruder can vary the profile thickness even though they maintain the exact channel dimensions.
