Double-sash tilt & turn opening
Aesthetic trends in new constructions are focused on the need to install large windows without obstructing the view and the light. But what happens when building conditions require the use of double-sash openings of reduced dimensions, or in the case of refurbishment of old buildings where it is not possible to alter the aesthetics of the building due to updating or modernisation?
In these cases, double-sash windows or balcony doors must be used, which means a considerable loss in terms of ventilation capacity, as with traditional tilt-and-turn systems the tilt position is only in the active sash..
For these cases, STAC offers a completely new and practical solution that maximises the ventilation capacity of these openings without the need to open them completely, achieving an improvement in the safety and practicality of the building.

» Renovations and refurbishments
The Euro Groove double sash tilt & turn system is specifically designed for refurbishment where windows and/or balcony doors are renovated to improve the insulation of the house or its aesthetics, but in which it is not desired or not possible to increase its dimensions, causing the sash width to be very reduced.
Therefore, a traditional opening system only allows the active sash to tilt, providing a reduced ventilation capacity limited by the width of the sash.
The double tilt & turn system allows the hardware of both sashes to be manoeuvred at the same time from the handle or cremone. In this way, the two sashes behave as a single, larger sash when tilting, allowing the ventilation surface to be increased without the need to open the window in the turn position or to operate both sashes’ hardware separately.

Installation on Euro Groove profiles is quick and intuitive due to its full compatibility with the STAC product range.
The specific components are groove-mounted on both active and passive sash profiles, making installation possible without the need for adapters or special tools.
All the components required for installation are supplied in the system kits. All you have to do is add the transmission rods and the tilt & turn fritction stays of your choice, depending on the dimensions and the maximum opening you wish to achieve in the window.
